Friday, April 9, 5:39 p.m.
An unknown man was seen handing out $1 bills to kids in the Hess Village area. Somebody took his picture and e-mailed it to police for follow up. Still no word on who the suspect is but he is apparently not Bill Gates.
Saturday, April 10, 10:19 a.m.
Police received a report of possible stalking by telephone.
Sunday, April 11, 5:17 p.m.
Officers were called to the U park school when an intoxicated man locked himself into a bathroom stall. He was apprehended and taken to FCC for protective custody.
Wednesday, April 14, 9:02 p.m.
An RD reported that an intoxicated woman had barricaded herself in a bathroom at Wickersham. He said he was able to enter into the bathroom and determine that she was conscious and in there with another woman. Off-campus friends, who apparently had a bathroom not being used, agreed to keep an eye on her. She was taken off campus for the evening.
Thursday, April 15, 12:54 p.m.
An officer driving an unmarked UAF police vehicle was struck by a following vehicle. No damage was done to the UAF vehicle and only minimal damage was done to the other car. The drivers exchanged information. Then the other driver was cited by the officer. What a surprise.
